The courtroom remained completely silent.
Evidence after evidence dismantled every defense Santiago attempted.
Financial fraud.
Forgery.
Conspiracy.
Domestic abuse.
Witnesses came forward—including former employees who admitted Beatriz had ordered them to falsify documents against Valeria.
The judge looked directly at Santiago.
"Your actions demonstrate planning, manipulation, and deliberate deception."
The custody petition was dismissed permanently.
Every fraudulent document was declared void.
Protective orders were granted immediately for Valeria and her unborn son.
Outside the courthouse, Santiago tried one last time.
"Valeria... please. We can fix this."
She calmly removed her wedding ring.
The small band landed in his open palm.
