CHAPTER 8: THE WOMAN MARISOL UNDERESTIMATED

At 11:45 a.m., Elena entered the Morales Holdings boardroom alone.
Marisol sat at the far end of the table.

The board secretary announced the transfer of controlling interest.
Marisol’s smile widened.

A live video appeared.
Victor moved through a medical corridor while federal tactical officers opened locked rooms.
In the final room, Rafael sat restrained to a hospital bed.
He was bruised but conscious.
Marisol stood.
“What is this?”
“A shareholder presentation,” Elena said.
“You no longer control the company.”
“I didn’t sign my name.”
Marisol snatched the contract.
